Project statement

As an image, the house is an architectural volumetry, leading and dynamic. It is the articulation of three white volumes with a very clear, defined rhythm.

The extension of the two front volumes toward their ends sensorially creates a welcoming embrace for visitors because of their spatial configuration, and at their meeting point (the pivot) is where the main entrance to the residence occurs. The siting of the proposal divides the exterior area into two clearly differentiated uses: one open and continuous that highlights the architecture from the public side, and another closed and private, where the owners' daily life takes place. One of the main challenges was to respect the existing vegetation on the plot.

The intention of the project was always to make a different proposal, with a strong identity and a design signature of its own. Leading façades in balance and harmony; fluid, simple spaces; light, nature and serenity are some of the qualities we can attribute to this project.

Translated from the studio's Spanish for this concept; pending the studio's review.
